Every House. Every Resident. Every Shift.

Each house gets its own record: who lives there, who's approved to work there, its roster and its paperwork. Book one shift for the whole house and every resident is billed their share, off their own support item.

The Short Version

One record per house.

Address, phone, capacity, the residents who live there, a house guide, photos and documents. All on the house.

Book the house, not three shifts.

Pick the house and every resident lands on the shift, each on their own support item, with the cost split between them.

Only the house team gets rostered.

Give each house its approved staff. With client groups on, nobody else can be put on that house's shifts.

What's Actually in It

1. Every House Gets Its Own Record

Add a house once: address, phone, capacity, the residents who live there, plus a house guide and admin notes for the office. From then on everything about that house lives in one spot, five tabs deep.

  • Every house in one list, with its capacity next to how many residents live there
  • Residents linked straight to their participant records
  • Approved staff, a photo gallery and the house documents on their own tabs
  • Evacuation plans, safety checks, house rules: PDFs, Word files and photos, filed on the house they belong to
  • Auditors can open your houses, read only

2. A Roster for Every House

Open a house and its Schedule tab shows that house's shifts and nothing else: who's on, who they're with and where every shift is at, by month, week or day.

  • Morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts, each naming the residents and the worker
  • Scheduled, under way, completed and cancelled, each in its own colour
  • Filter by participant, staff or shift type
  • A shift with nobody on it shows how many have applied from the Job Board, with Assign right there
  • Every house shift sits on the main roster too, next to everything else

3. One Shift for the Whole House

Book a house shift and pick the house. Every resident lands on it with their own support item, the cost is split evenly between them, and with client groups on the worker list shrinks to the house's own team.

  • Each resident on their own support item, and their own sleepover item for nights
  • An even split by default (33.33% each for three residents), and anyone's share can be changed
  • Take a resident off one shift when they are away; the rest stay on
  • One worker on the shift, and one timesheet for them
  • Clock off and every resident gets their own invoice, priced for the day and time at their share and taken off their own plan

4. On Shift in the House

Your team gets the house, the residents and the notes on their phone, and the office gets every note on the right person.

  • The house in their pocket

The house address with directions, and every resident on the shift, in the Orangised app.

  • Notes on the right person

A care note for the house lands on every resident's record. Workers can add one for each resident at clock-out.

  • Nights covered

Hourly check prompts on awake overnight shifts, and an active-work timer on sleepovers.

  • No one left off the roster

Leave the worker blank and the house shift goes straight to the Job Board for your team to apply.

The Honest Answers

What it does, what it doesn't, and no fine print.

No, and we won't pretend it does. A house is a house: SIL, shared living, whatever you call it. If your team rosters shifts there, set it up as a house and you get the record, the roster, the house team and shared billing. There are no separate SIL, ILO or SDA house types.
