Clock On. Write It Up. Knock Off.

The Orangised app puts the whole shift in your team's pocket: today's shifts, the participant's care plan, clock in and out, care notes by voice and every health and incident form. No note, no clock-off, so nothing gets written up three days later. Families and practitioners sign in to the same app and get their own screens.

The Short Version

No note, no clock-off.

The app won't close a support shift without a care note of 150 characters or more and a signature. Talk it in with voice-to-text if typing's a pain.

Every form, right there on the shift.

Incident and ABC reports, medication and eight more health logs, filed from the shift against the right participant.

It does the nagging for you.

A push an hour before a shift, half an hour before it ends and the afternoon before, plus hourly checks overnight.

One App. Everyone Gets Their Bit.

One download from the App Store or Google Play. The login decides what you see.

Support Workers

The whole shift, from the first reminder to the last signature.

  • Today's and this week's shifts
  • Clock in and out from the shift
  • Care notes, signature and photos at clock-off
  • 11 incident and health logs
  • Job Board, leave, documents and chat

Admins

Everything your workers get, plus the whole roster in your pocket.

  • Everyone's shifts, or flick to just your own
  • Create a shift, repeats and all
  • Edit individual and house shifts, or cancel a support shift, on the spot
  • Office work in a notification tells you where to find it on the web

Families and Participants

Guardians see their own participant and nobody else. Participants see their own shifts.

  • Shifts, profile, care plan and documents
  • Shift photos and the care notes you share
  • Service agreements signed in the app
  • Incident and ABC reports lodged by guardians
  • Chat with your team

Allied Health Practitioners

Practitioners land on their own screens, built around sessions instead of shifts.

  • Today's sessions and the week ahead
  • Clock in, then complete the session with travel
  • Caseload and a snapshot of each participant
  • Reports, obligations and development evidence from the camera

What's Actually in It

1. The Whole Shift, Start to Finish

Their shifts on the home screen, everything they need before they walk in the door, then clock in, do the job and clock off with the notes done. The office sees it all on the web.

  • Reminders that land

A push an hour before a shift starts, half an hour before it ends, and the afternoon before.

  • Talk, don't type

Voice-to-text on the care note, for anyone who'd rather say it than spell it.

  • Nights covered

Hourly overnight check prompts, and a timer for active work on sleepovers.

  • Groups and houses

One note for the shift, one for each participant, and private notes for the office.

  • A week of shifts on one strip, each marked Scheduled, Ongoing, Completed or Cancelled
  • The participant's profile, care plan, documents and past care notes, a tap away
  • Care and special instructions, appointments and map directions on the shift
  • Flagged risks to read before clock-in, and a signed consent before a community outing
  • Clock off with a care note of 150 characters or more, a signature, photos, receipts and travel kilometres
  • Save the clock-off as a draft and finish it later
  • Ask us to switch it on and nobody starts today with yesterday's shift still open

2. Eleven Forms, Right There on the Shift

Something happens, it gets written down on the spot. Every form opens from the shift's menu, and files itself against the shift and the participant with the worker's name on it.

  • Incident reports with a front and back body map, photos, witnesses and first aid
  • ABC reports: what came before, what happened and what came after
  • Medication by the dose: Taken, Refused or Taken Late, with the time and a photo
  • Food and fluids, sleep and hygiene, bowels, diabetes, blood pressure, falls, seizures and weight
  • Group and house shifts: pick the participant and the form files to them
  • The participant's earlier health logs to look back through in the app
  • The office gets an email and an alert the moment an incident or ABC report lands

3. Shifts, Leave and Paperwork Without Ringing the Office

The stuff that used to mean a phone call or a trip into the office. Open shifts to put their hand up for, leave to ask for, certificates to upload and policies to sign, all from the app.

  • Open shifts on the Job Board, ready to apply for or withdraw from
  • A push every morning when new shifts go up
  • Leave requested with the type, the dates and a reason, with a heads-up if someone else is already off on those dates
  • A new certificate snapped for their compliance or competency documents, waiting for the office to check it
  • Policies and letters to read and sign, with a nudge when one needs signing again
  • Tasks, the Training Hub, their hours and feedback, all in the menu
  • Team chat with photos, the Social Hub and community activity ideas

4. Locked Down, Not Locked Out

Everyone signs in with their own login, each role only gets the screens it needs, and you decide how tight the front door is.

  • App Lock

Once it's switched on, the app asks for a fingerprint, face or the phone's PIN when it starts up.

  • Two-factor sign-in

A code from an authenticator app on top of the password. Make it compulsory if you like.

  • Families see their own

A guardian only ever sees their own participant, and only the care notes you share.

  • Alerts on their terms

Each person switches in-app and email notifications on or off for themselves.

Everything in the App

Grouped by the job it does. What it doesn't do is in the answers below.

Before the Shift

Everything they need before they walk in.

  • Today's, this week's, upcoming and past shifts
  • Scheduled, Ongoing, Completed and Cancelled at a glance
  • The participant's profile, information, care plan, allied health contacts and documents
  • Past care notes, so the next worker knows what happened last time
  • Care and special instructions, and the agenda for training shifts
  • Appointments on the shift, and directions in Google or Apple Maps
  • A push an hour before a shift or training session starts

Clocking In and Out

No note, no clock-off.

  • Clock in and out from the shift itself
  • Flagged risks to read before clock-in
  • Community outings: the risks read and signed before clock-in
  • A care note of 150 characters or more, with voice-to-text
  • Appointment notes when the shift had an appointment
  • A note for each participant on group and house shifts, plus private notes for the office
  • Signature, shift photos, receipts and travel kilometres
  • The clock-off saved as a draft on the phone
  • A push half an hour before an ongoing shift ends
  • Optional: yesterday's clock-off has to be finished before today starts

  • Medication log
  • Food and fluid log

Covered while everyone sleeps.

  • The timer has to be stopped before clock-off

  • Guardians: service agreements to read and sign
  • Guardians: incident and ABC reports lodged from the app
  • Guardians: company events and feedback

The Honest Answers

What it does, what it doesn't, and no fine print.

iPhone and Android. Your team downloads Orangised from the App Store or Google Play, types in your Organisation ID and signs in with their own login. There's one app for everyone: the login decides whether they see a support worker's screens, an admin's, a family's or a practitioner's.
